Green Grotto, also known as Runaway Bay Caves, Cave Hall Caves, Discovery Bay Caves, Dry Harbour Caves, Hopewell Caves, Rum Caves, and Dairy Caves, is a popular natural destination in Jamaica.

Over time, the Jamaican government has recognised the untapped potential of this historical landmark and has entrusted it to the Urban Development Corporation and the St Ann Development Company, respectively.

Since then, the Green Grotto Caves have been converted into a world-class attraction, receiving Green Globe 21 accreditation in 2003 and platinum status in 2009.

The huge labyrinthine limestone cave with its unique rock formations, stalactites, stalagmites, and profusion of overhead ceiling pockets, as well as bats, is the main feature of this natural attraction.

This site is easily accessible by private tour or public transportation and is located just west of Ocho Rios. The park offers safe, private parking and locker rentals to keep your belongings safe while ascending the falls. The waterfall is accessible to most people, and there is a splash park on the premises with waterslides and play areas!
