Overview
Doctor's Cave is one of Montego Bay's most popular beaches. It does, however, require an entrance fee, which may be a deterrent for some. Many, on the other hand, are willing to pay the money to visit Doctor's Cave, where they may play in the calm waves, enjoy the safety of lifeguards, and have easy access to the water sports, changing rooms, and beach bars. Because of the beach's popularity, expect crowds (especially on days when cruise ships are docked at Montego Bay's port) and high food prices.

Description
Doctor's Cave Beach is one of the most popular beaches on Jamaica's west coast, located along Montego Bay's famous Hip Strip stretch along Gloucester Avenue. The beach serves as a gateway to the pristine 15-acre (6-hectare) Montego Bay Marine Park, providing simple and direct access to a variety of water-based activities.
When you visit Doctor's Cave, you'll be able to hire snorkelling equipment, kayaking equipment, water scooters, and other aquatic sports. Umbrellas, towels, and beach chairs can all be rented. Even while they acknowledge to having a nice time, several travellers were dissatisfied with the nickeling and diming.
For an extra daily cost, chairs, umbrellas, and floats can be rented. The beach at Doctor's Cave is open from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. every day. Visit Doctor's Cave's website for additional details.
