Benta River Falls and Rick’s Cafe

Benta River Falls is a family-owned and operated business located on the outskirts of Savanna-La-Mar, Westmoreland. The property has a lovely river with seven little waterfalls flowing beneath tall bamboo trees and other tropical plants that shade the searing afternoon heat and create a cool viridescent glow over everything. The owners’ devotion to sustainable tourism is what makes this jewel so special. The grounds haven’t been altered much, and the materials used to construct the few structures and staircases are environmentally friendly.

On Negril’s West End Cliffs, guests will find the island’s first public bar and restaurant, offering an alternative to the island’s magnificent seven-mile beach. From its naturally created cliffs, Rick’s Cafe has always had an unrivalled view of the sunset. Over the years, Rick’s Cafe has established itself as Negril’s most popular gathering spot, and the sunsets have become a Jamaican tradition.

Falmouth Shore Excursion: Sightseeing and Doctor’s Cave Beach

Doctor’s Cave is one of Montego Bay’s most popular beaches. It does, however, require an entrance fee, which may be a deterrent for some. Many, on the other hand, are willing to pay the money to visit Doctor’s Cave, where they may play in the calm waves, enjoy the safety of lifeguards, and have easy access to the water sports, changing rooms, and beach bars. Because of the beach’s popularity, expect crowds (especially on days when cruise ships are docked at Montego Bay’s port) and high food prices.

Jungle River Kayaking/Tubing Adventure Tour from Falmouth

You’ll kayak downstream, challenging you and your buddy to skillfully paddle through a variety of spectacular class 2 rapids and beautiful river pools. The currents begin to fade as you pass beneath the old stone bridge, and your kayak takes a peaceful trip into the Caribbean Sea. Once at sea, you paddle around the coast at your own pace until you reach a secluded beach for a refreshing drink and some downtime.

Calm and quiet, the resplendent backdrop is an ideal way to soak in Jamaica’s best natural attractions.

Kayaking is a fun and adaptable sport that may be practised by youngsters as young as five years old in Jamaica. The optimum time to go out on the sea is early in the morning, before the trade winds blow in and cause resistance, increasing the amount of effort required to keep moving through the water.

Catamaran Cruise & Dunn’s River Falls

Set sail on a catamaran cruise along Ocho Rios’ coastline. Before climbing the world-famous Dunn’s River Falls, stop to snorkel and bathe in the balmy Caribbean waters.

As your captain takes you out of Crystal Cove, step onboard the 65-foot (20-m) long catamaran and pick a seat to lounge and relax on her large decks. Jump into the warm water at your first stop to snorkel the reefs below or swim around and cool off.

You’ll then sail to the beautiful beach where Dunn’s River Falls meets the sea. With your guide, climb 600 feet (183 metres) up the natural cascading waterfall, posing for once-in-a-lifetime photos along the way. Take a nature walk down the mountainside once you’ve reached the summit, soaking in the beauty and fauna of the surrounding Jamaican jungle.

As you approach the pier, the party on board the catamaran has begun, complete with flowing rum drinks and reggae music.

Dunn’s River Falls and Ocho Rios Tour

Pick up souvenirs and commodities at Ocho Rios, the Caribbean’s duty-free mecca, after a stop at a local market. Then, at Dunn’s River Falls, ascend 600 feet (183 metres) above the river to explore one of Jamaica’s national treasures.

Leave your accommodation and travel to Ocho Rios on Jamaica’s north coast. Before visiting Dunn’s River Falls, go shopping and take advantage of duty-free offers on wine, jewellery, and fragrances.

Follow your guide through the park to the falls’ basin when you arrive. Slowly stroll up the falls with other tourists, helping your neighbour while getting helped in return. Stop along the way to cool off in natural pools or get a back rub from a waterfall, and don’t forget to ask your guide to take some once-in-a-lifetime shots. A paved route brings you back down the hill to your starting place at the top of the falls, where you can spend some extra time admiring the park’s thick forest and natural splendour before heading back to your accommodation.

Green Grotto Caves and Dunn’s River Falls Tour

The enormous labyrinthine limestone cave with its varied rock formations, stalactites, stalagmites, and plenty of overhanging ceiling pockets is the main feature of this natural attraction. The Caves are located between the tourist centres of Ocho Rios and Montego Bay, and are precisely 3.2 kilometres from Discovery Bay to the west and 4 km from Runaway Bay to the east, on 25.9 hectares of the island’s magnificent North Coast. The Green Grotto is 1,525 metres long and 12 metres deep, with several chambers and light apertures, as well as a subterranean lake (the Grotto Lake) in its bowels.

The more you ascend, the more magnificent the view becomes. Stop and swim in multiple natural pools on various levels, as well as snap great photographs to commemorate your journey. As the Dunn’s River flows through a beautiful rainforest in the hills, you’ll have the opportunity to take a bite to eat and stroll among the lush garden trails at the top of the falls.
